In April and May, the city passed Ecological game. They were attended by pupils of secondary schools in Vladivostok. During quizzes and relays the guys showed great knowledge, skills, and most importantly, a keen interest in one of the most important problems of our day.
The city took place just two major tournaments. The first took place in several stages. First - the regional competitions. Their winners were eligible to participate in the citywide finals. It took place on May 6 in the park Landmine town - for the title of the best teams fought 9 of 9 secondary schools. The jury gave its preference to three schools. Prize-winning second and third places respectively took 75 teams and 11 schools. The best results on the final number of school students found 52. A total of Environmental games were attended by about 600 people.
Awarding took place immediately at the end of the competition. To the applause of the participants and spectators guys handed diplomas and valuable prizes - the right young environmentalists equipment - monitors, cameras, printers.
Ecology, biology and Nandigram were the focus of mass Tournament "What, Where, When?". The tournament was held as part of the Environmental second games. It also involved students - 12 teams of six people each. Top 13 students demonstrated knowledge of the school. The winners have taken with them a special cup and 6 external hard drives - one for each team member. Everyone else got sweet gifts and certificates.
The Games were held in one of the most important to date, long-term programs - "Improvement of waste management in the city of Vladivostok." Its implementation is engaged in management of the environment and wildlife of the city administration. The program is designed to improve the environmental situation in the capital region. One of its main objectives - to explain to the population the need for selective waste collection. It is to this subject during the Games was given special attention.
However, the environmental game - it's just part of the long list of events. Also planned for school trips, special classes, creative competitions. A chance to prove their progressive attitude to the environment is for everyone.
