Information about this was announced at the briefing in the administration of Primorye, dedicated to the decriminalization of major sectors of the economy. According to the Deputy head of economic security and counter-corruption activities of Russia in the Primorsky territory Sergey Vorobiev, advanced technical tools make it much easier for police work to combat the illicit trafficking of water bioresources. In 2012 thanks to the information collected by unmanned aerial vehicles, were initiated 24 criminal cases were confiscated 4 small-size vessels and 180 gear. And this year monitoring from the air helped to prevent illegal cutting of wood with a volume of over 250 cubic meters. Therefore, the Krai administration and law enforcement bodies are actively working in the sphere of decriminalization of economy of region», - said Alexander Elk. According to the participants of the briefing, the implementation of measures for the decriminalization of Primorye should be comprehensive in nature, assuming a change of legislation in the sphere of export of natural resources at the Federal level, strengthening responsibility for illegal actions in the field of forest and water biological resources, increasing of the living standard of inhabitants of the region.
