Tens of thousands of drivers who paid fines traffic police, appeared in the ranks of non-payers. This was due to a failure of malfunction of the State information system on the state and municipal payments (GIS GMF).

Earlier, the government held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Finance, the Federal Treasury and a number of banks to discuss the problem with the payment of fines citizens for traffic violations. Following the meeting, the Federal Treasury, the Savings Bank, the Government of Moscow and the Russian traffic police had been instructed to establish the cause of data loss in the system until May 24. Also, as a temporary option, which would provide another way to confirm the payment of the fine.

Note that in the last year of the traffic police received information about 500 thousands of unpaid fines, which were paid after verification.
