As noted by the head of the Youth Authority Vladivostok Oksana Solovyov, ISU 'Youth Resource Center "was created January 112013 for the purpose of prevention activities among young people, including individual preventive work with juveniles who are registered in the organs of prevention. And also for the organization and conduct of activities aimed at crime prevention, health promotion and organization of leisure of children and youth. To carry out activities to prevent drug use among youth agency staff have been trained at the training seminar conducted by experts GBUZ "Regional Clinical Hospital № 2" (AIDS Center) and the leading trainers of youth public organization "Life". The work program is actively used the "Crossroads of opportunity", developed by the center and get an expert opinion of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation, winning the All-Russian competition of youth projects in the category "Health" in 2012. In February, 36-year-secondary schools and in vocational education classes were conducted with elements of the training on the prevention of drug use. A total of 69 sessions, which were attended by 1439 people. Members of the commission recommended the ISU "Youth Resource Center" to continue the implementation of preventive measures aimed at preventing non-medical use of drugs, to promote healthy lifestyles and leisure activities for children, adolescents and young adults.
