The Forum "Russia 2013" discussed how Siberia and the Far East to become the financial center of the country

Sberbank of Russia held a VI Business Forum "Russia 2013" in Moscow, where he collected several thousand participants - politicians, businessmen and economists.
As part of "round tables", it took many urgent and frank discussions. One of them was devoted to the topic of the next political, economic choice for Russia and to determine its place in the world on the background of the events of the last decade - to the West or to the East it carries itself. In this panel, chaired by President, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia German Gref, was attended by prominent politicians - former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Czech President Vaclav Klaus and former Foreign Minister of China Li Dzhaosin. On the Russian side, participants were - the head of the presidential administration Sergei Ivanov, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
Discussion on the evaluation of potential investors and the realities of Russia took place under the leadership of co-director of "Sberbank CIB" Ruben Vardanyan. Participation in the conference was the Vice - President of LUKOIL Leonid Fedun, the head of "AvtoVAZ" Igor Komarov, CEO of "Yandex" Arkadiy Dobkin, Glencore CEO Ivan Glasenberg, is also the founder and partner of the fund TPG David Bonderman.
One discussion was entirely devoted to the problems of Siberia and the Far East. Thanks to the wealth of resources and proximity to the financial centers of South-East Asian region claims the engine of economic growth in Russia.
