JSC "RAO Energy System of East" has successfully passed the autumn and winter heating season 2012-2013. In the period from October 2012 to April 2013 there had been no large-scale andlong interruptions in the power supply of consumers of the Far East. For the first time in 20 years in the area of Unified Energy System of East (East IPS) was recorded with a maximum power consumption - 5472 MW.
Stable pass the autumn and winter holding "RAO Energy System of East" has allowed the successful maintenance campaign in 2012. Total repairs on equipment in 2012 spent more than 9 billion, which is 5% higherthan in 2011.
There was a large-scale work on the repair of heating system. In general, the holding company has been repaired 60.7 kilometers of heating mains (113% of the plan year), 355 boilers (100% of the plan) and 264 turbo (106% of the plan). As for the network economy, it has been renovated 4180 km of electric networks (100% of plan), repaired 164 transformers with total capacity of 1131 MVA (124% of the annual plan).
At the end of autumn and winter period 2012-2013 the generation of electric power stations holding "RAO Energy System of East" was 18406 million kWh, which is 4% lower than in 2011-2012. The main decrease by 701 million kilowatt hours at the station had "DGC", which was due to the increased load Bureyskaya and Zeya hydroelectric power station because of the high water content. Heat energy units of the holding in the autumn and winter period 2012-2013 amounted to 25347 thousand Gcal, which corresponds to the last PTD - 25376 thousand Gcal. Numbertechnological failures at power holding companies compared with last PTD decreased by 53 cases (1.7%).
Serious impact on the operation of power grids of the Far East this winter had cyclones, the consequences of which had to face the energy sector Kamchatka and Primorye, Sakhalin and Magadan regions. Through the work of the operational staff grid companies long disconnections have been avoided.
During the heating season fuel stocks at power Holding meet standards approved by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. In the structure of fuel burned coal today is 57%, natural gas - 40%, oil - 3%. The share of oil in the overall balance of fuel annually reduced gas - is increasing.
