Russian vodka consumers are switching to more expensive varieties of this drink. This conclusion follows from the research analyst firm Nielsen - it compares sales in February-March of the current and previous years.
According to the company, the sale of vodka cost from 190 to 215 rubles per 0.5 liters for the year decreased by 3.5%. Sales category 215-230 rubles per 0.5 liter decreased by 1.4%.
At the same time, sales sorokagradusnuyu cost 230-300 rubles per 0.5 liter increased by 2.3%, while the premium segment (300 rubles more expensive) grew by 1.1%.
Despite these changes, leadership retains segment 190-215 rubles per half-liter bottle - to him in February and March of this year accounted for 34.1% of the vodka market.
