Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev supported the differentiation of premiums for individual entrepreneurs with low incomes.
Differentiation of premiums means that taxes for businesses with an annual turnover of up to 300 thousand rubles will be reduced.
Medvedev said that the government will continue to consult on the tax cuts for small businesses with trade unions, experts and parliament.
Now the government is considering two options to support entrepreneurs with low incomes. Differentiation of premiums is one of the options. It provides that the payments business with a turnover of up to 300 thousand rubles a year, will be fixed at the level of 26 percent from one SMIC (minimum wage). Businessmen with greater income will pay the same amount plus a percentage of turnover.
An alternative is to introduce a direct subsidy contributions for entrepreneurs on low incomes.
