Fuel smuggling disclosed in Primorye
Late last year, going on an expedition to the Sea of Okhotsk, the captain of the tanker, assigned to Sovetskaya Gavan, in a declaration of the said cargo - "low-viscosity fuel ship" in the amount of 1680 tons. A load in the documents did not appear.
Fuel has been exempted from the payment of taxes, as intended for Russian fishing vessels. Said oil tanker were unloaded by 10 trawlers. In other courts, according to the captain of the tanker is not exposed.
However, the results of search operations proved the opposite. On board the tanker on a fishing trawler, assigned to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, was unloaded 120 tonnes of undeclared fuel. Illegal sale cost the shipowner trawler at 3.6 million. Machination was organized by representatives of the supplier and the company-owner with tanker captain.
