The long-awaited draft law On beekeeping in Primorski Krai is ready to be adopted in the first reading at the June session of the Legislative Assembly. Without a legal framework and government support of beekeeping in the Primorsky territory ceases to be attractive to the population, gradually becomes uneconomic industry, which leads to reduction in the number of bee colonies. The document establishes a legal framework for activities on breeding, maintenance and use honey bees, receipt of bee products, in addition, the document regulates relations in the sphere of state support of beekeeping and ensure respect for the rights and interests of citizens and legal persons employed in this industry. After treatment beekeepers Primorye deputies of the Committee of the regional Parliament on food policy and nature management returned to the urgent issue. Also in the draft law describes the rights and obligations of persons carrying out activities in the field of beekeeping, principles for apiaries, especially the organization of beekeeping in the settlements in the territories horticultural, gardening and dacha non-profit associations. The law also regulates the implementation of bee families, Queen bees and bee products, types of state industry, veterinary and sanitary control and protection of bees. "The draft law on beekeeping is developed by the deputies of previous convocations since 1992 - said the Deputy of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly on food policy and nature management Yury Korneev. - I hope, now the work on the law will be brought by deputies of our Committee to the end.
