on may 31 in Art floor at the Aksakov street, 12 opened exhibition of avant-garde artists of the four countries, «Abduction of Europe» and the presentation of the book «Literary spawning» local and Ukrainian writers. These two events are part of the project «One life - four countries», dedicated to the memory of David Burliuk, one of the founders of Russian futurism. The exhibition presents works by artists from Vladivostok, Japan, Germany, USA and Ukraine. On one wall hung a huge canvas «Abduction of Europe». The author - artist Sergey Gorbachev from Vladivostok, but, according to the organizer the project of the artist and writer Sergei Gonchar, the same name of the work and the exhibition - a pure coincidence. - Title of today's exhibition is connected with the action in the spirit of Burliuk, we want to arrange in Paris, - say the organizers. - We want to «catch» any Parisienne (perhaps even the world-famous), a plaster cast and bring him to us in Vladivostok. But the organizers did not stop: the next stage of the action «One life - four countries» will be the car marathon from Vladivostok to Kharkov and back, which starts in late summer. In each city, who will meet them on the way, poets and artists are planning to arrange exhibitions and to hold poetry readings. During the presentation, the audience did not miss: they were presented an extensive program of the concert of local creative personalities. On the improvised scene played Pavel Shugurov with his band «Zadroty against», the famous Vladivostok photographer Mikhail Павин, the staff of «Пепелсбей, and local poets read their poems. Exhibition «Abduction of Europe» will last until June 16 at the Aksakov street, 12 (Museum of modern art «Artetage»), phone 260-89-02.
