April 27 in Khabarovsk, the first championship of the Far Eastern Federal District, a mixed martial arts MMA, which brought together the strongest fighters from all over the Far East: the Jewish autonomous, Amur, Magadan, Sakhalin, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk and Primorye territories and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Maritimes athletes made it very successful, winning 5 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Maritime squad of 9 people acted in all six weight categories. The fights were very difficult, as all needed to win - these events are qualifiers for the championship of Russia. Our athletes have shown a very good result, taking almost all the "gold."
On the basis of competition in the Primorsky Krai Khabarovsk team won the first place team.
