Ussuri prosecution, the indictment in the criminal case against the head of the local branch of the traffic police, accused of ten offenses under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code (committing an official that is clearly beyond his powers and involve a substantial violation of the lawful interests of society and the state).

According to investigators, the chief of the Russian traffic police OMVD the Ussuri in the period from October 2011 to November 2012 at the request of his friends helped the violation was committed, under Art. 12.8 of the Administrative Code, for drivers to avoid responsibility.

Thus, exceeding his authority, he gave instructions to his staff - separate battalion inspectors OMVD Russian traffic police in the Ussuri not initiate administrative proceedings against detained for driving while intoxicated and disqualified from driving.

As a result of such action 10 drivers - perpetrators were not brought to the statutory responsibility and escaped punishment.

Now a criminal case has been referred to the Ussuri district court.
