More than half of the drivers in Russia (56%) were not willing to give up a personal car. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM). Just asked to take part 16 thousand people in 130 villages in 42 regions, territories and republics of Russia. 52% of respondents explained their decision to the convenience and comfort, 12% are afraid of losing freedom of movement, 11% of respondents said that they just love to drive. In addition, the majority of drivers believe that personal transportation does more good than harm. This opinion is shared by 70% of respondents. Moreover, 77% of them — drivers under 35 years of age. Reduced car use only 14% of drivers surveyed. Completely abandon the personal car ready 40% of drivers. Most of them (68%) are residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
