Amounts due under the agreement will be allocated to Russia\’s Sberbank for long-term financing of exports of equipment and services from Japan. At the signing ceremony, German Gref said: «We have several years working with JBIC and jointly implemented a number of important projects under the previous credit agreement. The signing of the new agreement will not only increase our co-operation up to 600 million dollars, but also will further enhance our ability to offer clients the most effective financial solutions for different types of projects, in particular in the supply of high-tech products and equipment from Japan, as well as localization production, with the participation of Japanese companies in Russia and other countries where we operate. »
