On Saturday, August 24 members of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels had a preventive raid off the coast of Vladivostok and Russian island . According to the new administrative rules (Order number 608 Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations of 18102012), the procedure will be made for the inspection of once every five years. For ships that have passed technical inspection after 29052012 (the date of entry into force of the Federal Law number 36) and introduced into the Russian register of small vessels (introduced in return ship books), a certification procedure is not required for 5 years. For ships that have passed technical inspection prior to that date, it is necessary to carry out inspection in 2013 which will be valid for 5 years.
