ISU "Youth Resource Center" invites all residents of Vladivostok who are tired greyness of city streets, paint the space near the fountain with multicolored yarn. It will be dressed standing near trees. As reported by RIA «VladNews» event organizer, Irina Kulikova, yarn already purchased, and soon crocheted "clothes" for the trees are ready. All those who came to the event will be able to help in their attachment to the trunks and branches. Also, the shares will be held master classes in knitting, weaving and origami baubles with bubechikami, which then will be hung on the branches of trees. Anyone who would make such decoration can hang it on the tree when making a wish at the same time. The event will start on August 11 at 1200. Help VladNews: Street knitting, or yarnbombing - a phenomenon that consists in the tying yarn of different objects of the urban environment. The pioneer of this movement was an American Magda Sayegh, who first tied a handle of the front door of his shop, and then by creating a creative association «Knitta Please», got to the broader elements of urban space: they have become monuments, pillars, advertising signs, cars and much more. Elements of street knitting is in different cities around the world.
