The accident at the «Fukushima-1» in Japan still a cause for concern in Primorye. Vladivostok Customs together with the management of Epidemiology in the Primorsky Territory continues to identify imported from Japan, used and dismantled vehicles, special vehicles and containers with spare parts that have contamination by beta-active radionuclides. However, the number of contaminated sites is gradually decreasing: in 2011 a quarter on average 90 objects were detected in 2012 — 75 in 2013 — in Q159 results found, in the second — 43 and July 13 sites. Still sources of high radiation background are the only second-hand machines and spare parts. All detected radiation hazardous facilities are additional controls, the results of which authorized federal authority (Rospotrebnadzor) a decision on the possibility of their entry into the territory of Russia. Since the accident at the nuclear power plant «Fukushima-1», the decision to ban the import into the territory of Russia 591 such objects, which have been identified thanks to modern equipment in the areas of customs control and customs officers at the disposal — stationary and mobile systems «Amber», portable dosimeters. Preventing the entry of radiation hazardous objects is still relevant because it is a guarantee of safety, actively using second-hand Japanese vehicles and parts.
