Ceremony of the meeting the large landing ship «Oslyabya were» held at berth 33 Ship quay Vladivostok at 1100. The last stop detachment of ships became the port of Korsakov, Sakhalin, where a number of activities related to paying honor to the heroes of the great Patriotic war and Russo-Japanese wars, as well as public meetings Korsakov and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. A detachment of ships left Vladivostok on June 3. The first item on the campaign became Nevelsk, after it - the Southern and the Northern Kuril Islands, Kamchatka, Okhotsk, then Korsakov and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In just 25 days hike ships detachment passed 4200 miles, visited the seven localities. For almost ten years of history of such shares for the first time the veteran troops landed in the main base of submarines of the Pacific fleet of the town of Vilyuchinsk. And in Okhotsk, where were born naval forces in the Pacific, the participants in the historical Expedition «memory» was visited for the second time. The hike was held on 16 ceremonies at various monuments, memorials and graves, four of them took place in the sea. Group of the ensemble of song and dance of the Pacific fleet gave a 9 concerts for the residents of Sakhalin, Kuril Islands and Kamchatka and Khabarovsk territories. "March of memory", which was attended by destroyer Fast, large landing ship "Oslyabya were" and seagoing tug "Kalar", was dedicated to the Day of victory in the great Patriotic war, 282-th anniversary of the Pacific fleet and the 200th anniversary of the birth of Admiral G.I.
