The exhibition will feature the works of four young artists — Римы Гхулум, Sarah Hotchkiss (USA, San Francisco) and Darya Bonet, Olga Bulgakova (Russia, Vladivostok), who with the help of paintings, sculptures and art objects exhibited their view of the natural beauty, the relationship of human relationships and the existing reality, hopes and aspirations of societies, cultures which are inextricably linked with the Pacific ocean. It is considered that art is most clearly illustrates the differences in mentality of people of different cultures, but in the age of globalization, namely in the field of art you can find the largest number of points of intersection conducive to mutual understanding. As far as artists for a month-long stay in the art-residence of Эсален managed to translate the original idea of using artistic methods, the viewer can see from 19 June to 5 July 2013 in the gallery «ARKA». «The prize Pacifica» was established in the field of art in order to strengthen the relationship between the two cities on different sides of the Pacific, San Francisco and Vladivostok. In February 2013 the exhibition «Prize Pacifica» took place in San Francisco. The exhibition will last from 19 June to 5 July 2013.
