About this event said in a letter to the head of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev, the extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in Russia Jean de Gliniasti. «I am happy to say that France opens his window in the common visa application centre Schengen countries in Vladivostok, — the letter says. — Thanks to this new capability, the inhabitants of your region you can apply for a visa to France in the immediate vicinity of their place of residence». Recall that the issues of improving the conditions for filing in Russia of visa applications to France were discussed in February this year during a meeting of the presidents of both countries. A month and a half ago Vladivostok visited Jean de Gliniasty, and one of the goals of his visit was preparation for the opening in the capital of Primorye visa application centre. And that\’s the goal accomplished. Visa window France will work in Vladivostok in the framework of the joint visa center, which opened a year ago and is located in the building of business center Fresh Plaza on Ocean Avenue. He already serves diplomatic missions of Austria, Spain, Malta, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Sweden and Norway. Be aware, however, that the visa service center performs purely administrative — verify and initial processing of documents. The decision about whether or not to grant a visa, as before, is taken exclusively by the Embassy (Consulate) of a country that is going to visit the applicant. A key advantage of such a center in the fact that, after passing the necessary documents, the client will not have to go to the European part of our country, to get a passport with the issued visa, the Schengen zone — now, including France.
