From 9 to 12 June in the province of Gangwon-to South Korea held a major international event — the exhibition trade and investment GTI. The countries — participants of the exhibition GTI except the Republic of Korea, were: China, Mongolia and Russia. In the framework of the Great Tuman Initiative saw a grandiose exhibition-sale of goods produced in the province of Gangwon-do. In the exposition were presented hundreds of titles products including: organic foods, biotechnology, health products, medical devices, industrial goods, Souvenirs and much more. In addition, in the framework of the EXPO-2013 was held advising on trade and investment specialists, presentation of special products and the advertising company of the participating regions. Also, from 9 to 12 June took place the official events dedicated to the exhibition, among them the Russian-Korean business forum, which was attended by representatives of the Russian-Korean Committee for the Far East and Siberia. One of the most important and crucial event was the international forum GTI cooperation, and attended by 150 participants from five countries in northeast Asia. Exhibition Great Tuman Initiative, which before was called «Tumangan», is a program for cooperation and regional development in the countries of northeast Asia. The border of this international economic zones pass between the Korean port Чончжин, Chinese city of Yanji and the Russian Discovery, this territory in the basin of the Tumen (Tumangan) occupies an area of 10000 square km of the Main goal of the project is economic development of the regions of the countries in the area of the Tumangan river. In connection with the 2018 winter Olympic games in профинции Kangwon-to South Korea, the present exhibition it was decided to hold it here. In parallel with serious training for the Olympics now here there is a serious work on the establishment of international trade relations and attracting investment into the region. Project on development of the Tumangan river region was adopted in 1995 the support of the Committee of the UN development Program. 10 years later, he breathed a new life: given a new name and new frontiers. Now the draft of Great Tuman Initiative (GTI) includes Primorsky territory, Russia, coast of the sea of Japan in Korea (Gangneung city,Ulsan, Busan) and the province of Кенбук, three North-Eastern provinces of China, and Eastern territory of Mongolia.
