To save the leopard population, the area of the pass Narvinskogo built road tunnel that will allow the animals free and, most importantly, safely pass through the forest without crossing the highway. Length of the tunnel is 575 meters, height - 5 meters, width - 925 m. Construction is "Pacific bridge construction company."
The unique construction of that tunnel constructed by the closed method, that is, is sinking under the ground. This will cause minimal damage to the surrounding environment, and, therefore, maintain the integrity of the nature of Khasan district. Builders have already completed 110 meters to the north and 60 meters to the south.
