As part of the Far Eastern Entrepreneurship Week ceremony of awarding the winners of regional, national and international competitions. Diplomas and awards from the hands of the chairman of the regional parliament Victor Gorchakov and the first vice-governor of the region Alexander Kostenko got the best representatives of small and medium-sized businesses Primorye.
Far Entrepreneurship Week kicked off May 13 in Vladivostok in the Far Eastern Federal University campus on the island of Russian. The final event will be the Congress of Entrepreneurs, which will be attended by thousands of businessmen from all over the Far East. The Week\’s annual awards ceremony was held for 10-second account of the contest «Entrepreneur of Primorye — 2012.» This year it was held from 15 nominations. Top business representatives were awarded diplomas and prizes.

In 2008 Primorye was one of the first regions of Russia, who took the law on the development of small and medium-sized businesses. In 2012 the government adopted a program of «Economic development and innovation economy Primorsky Territory», designed to promote the development of the business. «The program works as a whole, effective. In Primorye, now employs about 84 thousand individual entrepreneurs and small businesses. An example of cooperation between business and government is the adoption of the law «On the patent system of taxation in the Primorye Territory.» It was adopted with a view to bringing legal provisions of Primorye Territory in accordance with the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. Discussion of the bill at all stages held in co-operation of the Legislative Assembly, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, executive authorities and local self-government. The law introduces a patent system of taxation in the region and sets the size of the potentially possible to obtain individual entrepreneurs annual income by 47 types of business in 2013.
In addition, coastal Duma deputies supported the appeal of the Astrakhan region in the State Duma with a proposal to reduce the amount of insurance premiums to the Pension Fund for entrepreneurs. For small businesses doubling the size of insurance premiums became unbearable load. The Russian government has approved a bill that would reduce the tax rate for individual entrepreneurs.
