With the support of the Department of Culture of the Primorsky Territory on May 17 in the Primorye State Art Gallery will host an exhibition "Beauty's, girls and other persons," which introduces a collection of rag dolls collected by Tatiana Bass (Moscow).
According to the press service of the Primorsky State Picture Gallery, the exhibition presents original works by the most famous Russian artists in the tradition of the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, Vyatka dolls and dolls of different nations and countries.
Visitors to the exhibition will see the dolls on a duck beak, felt dolls, mats, dolls and doll pencil theater, puppets Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, India, Egypt, Guatemala, Mexico.
Note the project "Beauties, girls and other persons" has existed since 2006 and was introduced in 16 museums and exhibition halls in Russia - from Moscow to Sakhalin.
There will also be workshops on making dolls.
