U.S. postponed the test intercontinental ballistic missiles, which were to be held in the coming days based in California, because of the crisis in relations with North Korea, Russian Service reports BBC.
A Pentagon spokesman said that at this time any military trials can only exacerbate the crisis.
Testing is expected to take place in May.
The situation on the Korean peninsula worsened in March, when the DPRK authorities have taken a number of tough statements, including the possibility of using nuclear weapons.
