Isolated tuberculous area closes at
IR-10 Russian Federal Penitentiary Service of the Primorsky

women in the penal colony № 10 for a long time was the problematic issue,

with the support of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, the problem is solved. Convicted women with TB are treated in specialized
LIU in
Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In
Primorsky Krai is no specialized medical prison for women convicts with tuberculosis, so in the penal colony number 10 and was organized by the isolated section to care for them and provide medical
assistance.
But, despite the isolation, the threat of the spread of disease to other units where inmates are serving sentences healthy women remained. Repeatedly pointed to this seaside prosecutors and representatives drew attention to the JSC. Manual
Chief Directorate
appealed to
FPS Russia to assist in the solution of the question of the possibility of sending such patients for treatment in medical institutions
other regional bodies.

10 women who in the next few months will be released after serving his sentence. It is planned to complete elimination of tuberculosis isolated area in the penal colony № 10
resulting in the release of additional living space. After all of the necessary anti-epidemic measures, reconstruction and repair, it will be created detachment nontuberculous profile.
