Given that regional budgets are limited in financial resources and can not completely compensate for the lost income AUC, many regions have resorted to every time already tested method to reduce their costs - reduce the amount of local trains (routes, frequency of trains plying and composite), increase rates for the population.

In part-time compensation from the Russian budget shortfall in income of "Federal Passenger Company" and in order to improve financial performance had considered various options to reduce the cost of passenger transportation and operating costs, including the optimization of the size of the movement distance trains and a reduction in non-profitable routes.
