For 44 schools Vladivostok purchased interactive whiteboards for classes. As experts of the Department of Education, the process of installation will begin in April, and in May, students will be able to see and evaluate innovations.

To handle these boards teachers are trained. For example, now 66 teachers attend special courses on the basis of the Primorsky Regional Institute of Education Development.
Recall, equipping schools with interactive whiteboards are within departmental target program Mayor Igor Pushkarev «The development and strengthening of the material-technical base of municipal schools in the city of Vladivostok» in 2012 — 2014 years. The result of this program should be a complete upgrade of computer park of public schools with modern computers not older than 5 years. Also, in most of the schools will be workstations for teachers and school-wide local area networks.
