I will continue to make every effort to strengthen and expand ties with Yakutia. And fruitful cooperation between the U.S. and Yakutia will continue - said Ms. Curran.

U.S. diplomat would add that Yakutia - is a wonderful region, home to the beautiful people who, in spite of the harsh climate, are very hospitable and kind.

In addition the U.S. is the number one buyer of diamonds from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). And Ms. Curran has taken and is taking the most direct active
assist in the implementation of these projects, the expansion of ties.
