Department of Labor and Social Development of the Primorsky Territory drafted amendments to the regional law «On employment quotas for disabled persons in the Primorye Territory.» The new law will allow to consolidate responsibility for the allocation of quotas for the employment of people with disabilities for small businesses.
Jobs for people with disabilities will become more of
As explained in the department, under current legislation jobs for people with disabilities must be created in organizations where the number of employees from 100 persons and above. The quota for the employment of disabled persons in these organizations — two percent of the number of employees.
After approval of the bill by coastal MPs such obligations will appear at the organizations in which the number of employees is between 35 and 100 people. The quota of jobs for disabled people for such organizations to be — three percent of the number of employees.
According Primorskstata in Primorye 141 registered organization with a number of employees from 35 to 100 people. After the amendment of the regional law, the heads of small enterprises will be required to provide jobs for people with disabilities according to the quota.
