This afternoon there was a fire on the Russian nuclear submarine missile-carrying cruiser «Irkutsk» Project 949A «Antey», part of the Pacific Fleet. The submarine is floating dock in the Far Eastern shipyard «Zvezda» in Bolshoy Kamen. The fire in one of the compartments has been fighting non-compliance of fire safety during welding operations, exclusively told RIA «Vladnews» one of the employees of the plant. To extinguish the fire on the territory of the floating dock arrived 13 fire brigades of the enterprise, the city and the Pacific Fleet. The fire was extinguished quickly, prevented the spread of fire and smoke on a submarine and a dock. No injuries were reported.
