Plan to build a grain terminal in Primorye
This information was announced at the meeting of a public advisory council to promote investment in Primorye — VestiRegion.ru reported the press service of the regional administration.
Since 2017 through the terminal will be held up to 7 million tons of grain, soybeans and pelleted feed. Also, the terminal will be able to take on the import of up to 2 million tons of corn, soybeans, rice and processed 1.4 million tonnes of imported soybeans. In the future, power will increase to 50 million tons a year.
Location of the facility — Cape Maximova in Bolshoi Kamen. No analogues in Russia, taken as a basis the Canadian prototype AC-130 terminal with a maximum capacity of handling up to 3.5 million tons per year, but the maritime terminal will be equipped with a more powerful elevators and conveyor belts. The amount of investment of the first stage will be 330 million U.S. dollars.
