"Vladivostok City Duma deputies are convinced of the importance of the development of Vladivostok as a center for international cooperation and open to dialogue with all stakeholders. International activity has been and remains one of the top priorities in the work of the deputies' - this idea sounded keynote report by the chair of Vladivostok City Duma Elena Novitskoj at today's plenary session of the IV Forum of the regional Legislative Assembly and Assembly of People's Representatives of the North-East Asia. Among the members of the representative of the international event, which this year is held under the auspices of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai were members of parliament of the People's Republic of Jilin Province, Yanbian Korean Autonomous County, Kangwon Province of the Republic of Korea, Akita Prefecture, Japan, Niigata Municipal Assembly, the Central Aimag Mongolia. Forum representatives of the legislative assemblies of the regions of North East Asia is a traditional place for discussion and cooperation and mutual exchange between the participating countries. NEA regional parliaments have the goal to increase the level of economic cooperation and give it a new impetus to the implementation of important inter-state projects. This, in particular, is the creation and development of international transport corridors, increasing the efficiency of joint ventures. Chairman of the Duma of Vladivostok believes that, based on existing infrastructure in our city, we can talk about the development in the future of transit functions as the capital of Primorye and providing international logistics services here. "Transcontinental Railroad, sea ports, Vladivostok airport should play a role in enhancing international trade and economic cooperation in Northeast Asia," - said in a speech at the Forum Elena Nowicka. She also drew the attention of the Forum to the fact that in recent years Beijing has demonstrated its potential worthy of hospitality. Therefore, there must be continued in the practice of our city representative international meetings, economic, cultural and sporting activities with the participation of representatives of different countries. Helen Nowicka Vladivostok urged international partners to actively explore and expand our city are joint projects, especially in manufacturing and high technology.
