On Saturday, September 7 the opening ceremony of the 11th International Film Festival of Asian Pacific Countries «Pacific Meridian», which takes place at Vladivostok from 7 to 13 September. This year\’s «Star Track» was organized on the campus of Palo on the island of Russian.
According to organizers, the event brought together more than two hundred of famous actors, writers, directors and agents. These include the Oscar-winning animator Alexander Petrov, documentary filmmaker and educator Marina Razbezhkina, cinematographer-director Dimitri Mass, Japanese director Kiyoshi Kurosawa and others. Also visit the «Pacific Meridian» and the famous Russian actor and director Nikita Mikhalkov. The festival was opened American actor — Michael Madsen.
Honorary president of the festival this year was Paul Loungine, chairman of the jury — Alexander Mindadze
