Trutnev appointed envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District
Today, August 31 at a meeting of Vladivostok Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed his assistant Trutnev as vice-premier of Russia - presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
The President stressed that the work of rescue techniques in the Far East has been performed properly, will create a special commission, which is also headed by Yuri Trutnev.
In his new position he will oversee the issues of complex socio-economic development of the Far Eastern Federal District.
"The Ministry of Development of the Far East will do what corresponds to his name - the development of all areas of the region, the creation of an enabling environment for the life of the people", - said Yuri Trutnev. "I really like Primorsky Krai", - he added.
The Governor of the Primorsky Territory Vladimir Miklushevsky noted that this solution will yield the region to a new level of development of the territory.
"Attention of the federal center in the Far East is quite large, and the appointment of a curator Yuri Trutnev federal region in the status of deputy prime minister shows that the country's leadership is doing a special focus on the development of the Far Eastern region.
