In Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, from 1 to August 10 brought together more than 7000 athletes from 57 countries to take part in the World Police and Fire Games. As part of the competition were presented to 56 different sports. The solemn ceremony was held in the main hall of the city — the Royal Hall. Closure of the games took place at the site of the Titanic Slipveys. It was on it was built and launched on the famous ship. The games were first held in 1985 was organized by the Federation of the World Police and Fire Games. Since then, the sport event held every two years. Russian delegation presented 108 employees and veterans of internal affairs. Russian police have successfully performed at the event, winning 40 gold, 18 silver and 19 bronze medals in various sports. Primorye represented by Senior Police Sergeant Stanislaw Myronenko serving with in the company of a separate battalion patrol police of the Interior Ministry of Russia in Vladivostok. He became world champion in two sports: in the women\’s 110-meter hurdles and the triple jump. Head of the MOI of Russia for the Primorye Territory Afanasiev signed a decree on the promotion of an employee of the Office of Internal Affairs of Russia in Vladivostok Stanislaus Myronenko. For outstanding achievements in the sport cop twice became the gold medalist in international sports competitions and was awarded a precious gift.
