FESCO Transportation Group has commissioned ship «FESCO Pevek», which became a part of the company\’s fleet in March 2013. After the acquisition of the vessel has been planned repairs and now gets to work on the coasting line FESCO Vladivostok — Magadan. The multipurpose vessel «FESCO Pevek» is capable of carrying any type of cargo, including 546 in twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) and up to 70 twenty-foot refrigerated containers. Thanks to the two electro-hydraulic crane with a capacity of 50 tons each ship can carry unloaded to the wild coast. The fuel consumption of the new vessel is 38% less than the ships run on the line. This will greatly reduce the fuel consumption. «Pevek» was built in the Japanese city of Shimizu in 1992. Its port of registry will Vladivostok, and on the flagpole boat will carry the Russian flag. Ship length — 113 meters, width — 19 meters. Tonnage — 9500. Maximum speed — 15 knots. The presence of «Pevek» ice class will use it in the winter and spring to provide year-round work coasting line Vladivostok-Magadan.
