Work on the reconstruction of the square Fisherman fame began two months ago. This observation platform on Kalinina used to be in a sorry state: crumpled concrete slabs, rusty fishing boat, completely broken steps on the paths Memorial Fishing Fame was opened in honor of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution of October 291977. Geographically, it is located at the specific site of the peninsula between the streets Cherkavskogo Kalinin and silver fir. Memorial is in the form of a small fishing trawler «MPC-80» — the first-born of Russian fishing ship building, set on two pillars. In addition to the vessel, which stands as a monument, below the hill Walk of Fame was created with the names of the fishermen ordenonosnogo fishing boats and fishermen\’s names — Heroes of Socialist Labor. In the last 20 years Square decayed Now Square looks quite different: a fishing boat, a monument painted and renovated in the park put granite curbs on new concrete slabs, railings installed, updated, steps leading up to the specific site, restored Sidewalk track. Finally, in the park and there was light: around the perimeter of the observation platform mounted lights, made the very bottom light boats. Now work on the reconstruction of the square is almost finished, the plan can only sow new lawns. In the square is walking with children residents of nearby houses, passersby stopped to sit. — We\’ve been waiting for, when there will be a place where you can take a walk with the children — told the RIA «VladNews» Natalia resident of a neighboring house. — So very happy to update the park.
