They had to evacuate the brown bears. August 17 while patrolling flooded area rescuers found two brown bears at the tourist camp «Green» near the town of Blagoveshchensk. Two years ago these animals were purchased and delivered from Ivanovo Zoo, which at the time had financial difficulties. Wild bears are in the cage and behind the clock monitoring staff camp site. In a more detailed investigation of the territory became clear that the water from the aviary is located 1.5-2 meters and gradually arrives. The leadership of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, it was decided to evacuate animals from the flooded area. For this camp was sent to the Russian Emergencies Ministry helicopter with rescuers and a representative of the veterinary service. Prior to the safe transport of the animals first made a calming shot. After that, they were moved to a higher and safer place, protected from flooding.
