At this year\’s meeting of several thousand philosophers went to representatives of the school of Humanities FEFU: Felix Agim, Sergey and Lyudmila Yachin Kirsanov. The theme of the congress was «philosophy as knowledge and way of life.» World Philosophy Congress held every four years. First held in 1900 in Paris, last — in Seoul. After Seoul Congress was even formed «philosophical» train, which went to cities in Russia, where 70 Russian and foreign philosophers stopping for two days, took part in round table discussions and meetings. This year\’s Congress was held at the home of philosophy and his actions were held in each of the philosopher iconic places — where previously there was the legendary Plato\’s Academy and Aristotle\’s Lyceum, where there were Socrates and Demosthenes. To make a presentation on current topics of modern philosophy, the representatives of Palo held for members of Congress and the presentation of the Federal University School of Humanities. The presentation aroused interest among foreign colleagues. Note that in the next 2014 Palo philosophical branch celebrate its 20th anniversary. Federal University is the only university in the Far East, which prepares the philosophers. This year, the School of Arts for the first time announced the acquisition of entrants for the profile «Eastern philosophy and culture.» This profile professors will prepare the future philosophers with knowledge of Eastern languages.
