Presented installation is timed to the memory

Presented installation is timed to the memory Presented installation is timed to the victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Established installation was conceived by two people — Olga Motolko and Stepan Serebryakov. Together, they studied at the department of landscape design, and later they had invented an art installation, the roots of which go back to their passion for Japanese culture. «It started out small — the first time we saw these cranes on the Internet, after which it learned about origami. Later I became interested in this art, I learned about a thousand paper cranes, and the roots of this story. After that I decided to recreate these paper cranes, and around here is my first crane «, — said Stepan Serebrjakov. According to the organizers, the creation of thousands of cranes took 2 months. At the same time in one night managed to add more than 40 pieces of paper. The very same exhibition will be held from 6 to 23 August. Sadako Sasaki survived the explosion of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, but was unable to avoid radiation sickness. When she was in the hospital, she was almost unable to walk, and did not come out of oppression. Doctors and friends told her the legend of the «crane» — if you fold a thousand of these symbols of happiness, of paper, it is possible to attain longevity and fulfillment of all desires. After that she began to put them out of anything that came to hand, and for the time available was able to collect 644 paper cranes, and died at the age of 12 years. The remaining figures were collected by her friends, after which they were placed together with her.
