On August 3 this year, come into force amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences of the strengthening of the administrative responsibility for violation of the legislation in the field of veterinary medicine. As RIA «VladNews» the press service Rosselhoznadhzora, under federal law № 199-FZ «On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences», signed by the President of the Russian Federation of 23072013 Russia considerably strengthened administrative liability for violations of the law the veterinary field. The changes come into force on 3 August. Previously, for violations under Art. 10.8 of the Administrative Code «Violation of the animal health rules for the transport or slaughter of animals, rules processing, storage or disposal of animal products» imposes fines on citizens in the amount of five hundred to one thousand, on officials — from three thousand to five thousand rubles for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity — from three thousand to five thousand rubles for legal entities — from ten thousand to twenty thousand. Now, in the new article. 10.8 of the Administrative Code clarified the offense and penalties for misrepresenting the sudden death or simultaneous mass diseases of farm animals, as well as for violation of animal health rules for the transport, playout or slaughter of animals or the rules of harvesting, processing, storage or disposal of animal products. These changes are in parts 2 and 3 tbsp. 10.8 of the Administrative Code, which were absent in the previous version. So, part 2 of Art. 10.8 of the Administrative Code established that the transport of farm animals, and (or) animal products without accompanying veterinary documents, except for the transportation of farm animals, and (or) animal products for personal use punishable by an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of three thousand to five thousand rubles for officials — from thirty thousand to forty thousand rubles for legal entities — from three hundred thousand to five hundred thousand. In turn, part 3 Hg. 10.8 of the Administrative Code specifies that a violation of the animal health rules for collection, recycling and disposal of biological waste punishable by an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of four thousand to five thousand rubles for officials — from twenty thousand to forty thousand rubles for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity — from forty thousand to fifty thousand rubles or administrative suspension of operations for up to ninety days, and on legal entities — from five thousand to seven thousand.
