In accordance with state contract in May, 2013 company «Interlab» delivered the modern precision physico-chemical equipment, which includes: quadrupole-TOF gas chromatograph with a mass selective detector, high resolution of Agilent Technologies (USA) and a spectrum analyzer ratios of stable isotopes of PICARRO (USA). Under this name hides a complex system, thanks to an innovative design which appeared to reliably solve this complex analytical problem, as the study of unknown substances to the definition of the presence in them of all narcotic and psychotropic drugs included in the list of prohibited, as well as identify new synthetic substances with psychoactive properties. Often these substances enter the Primorsky Territory from neighboring countries, and has not yet made a list of controlled substances. Information on the isotopic composition of the test substances, obtained by the analyzer of PICARRO, will help to more accurately meet the challenges of physical and chemical examinations. The deputy head of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service of the Primorsky Police Colonel Sergei Medvedko, new equipment allows, first — to identify the substance as a narcotic or psychotropic that allows you to quickly open a criminal case, and secondly, it is possible to compare the substances seized from the various drug dealers, and thus establish a common source of income of these substances. This is especially important in exposing criminal groups engaged in illicit drug trafficking.
