Yesterday, July 23 the youth organization "Patriot Primorye" celebrated its second birthday. The official part of the event took place on board the sailing ship "Hope." Activists came to congratulate the representatives of public organizations of culture, science, sports, the clergy, as well as veterans and writers - all the people that worked with children since its inception. The film tells the story of how, as a woman, just having a great desire was determined to save three whales trapped in the ice, and this attracted the attention of the worldthe public. The film was chosen by chance: few people know that in Vladivostok in FESCO Hall building is a monument thus three whales. Scheryakov Alexander, director of the youth movement "Patriot Primorye," said the film is not a random choice, because it coincides with the basic idea of the promise of the organization: nothing will change until we ourselves will do for this effort. - The connotation of the word "patriotism" utterly distorted today: rooted association with politics and war. The activists are trying to change this stereotype, with a focus on the vital qualifications: patriotism is to help a neighbor with a raised walkway candy wrappers, take patronage over veteran. Alexander said that the problems in society is always, but it is silly to blame everything on the power of God and the business, and realizing that their lot depends on us, we must act. So after two years of "Patriot Maritime" has turned into the largest youth organization of Primorsky Krai. During the existence of the organization was implemented more than 160 good deeds. Among them - the festivals, voluntary work, sporting events, educational forums. In June, members of the movement initiated by the opening of a street theater in the open air, which caused a rapid boom: now on Saturdays for a free show going on average 500-600 people. Soon such cinema opened in Nakhodka, on the low start - Ussuriysk. Activists about 800 people, all of them are scattered cities of Primorye, but it does not prevent exercise-scale projects, such as the Far East Initiative Youth Forum "Andrew's Town", a kind of "Seliger" at the local level, which brings together representatives of youth organizations from across the Far East.
