Meanwhile, the majority of registered in the Primorsky Territory environmental violations (about 15000), according to the analysis of the state of law in the field of environmental protection is accomplished primarily by citizens - residents of the region due to lack of environmental education and consumer attitudes to natural resources. An illustrative example - it is illegal hunting, turnovers that directly depend on the total number of legal and illegal hunting weapons in the region. According to Vladimir Kolesnikov, unfortunately, many hunters are not vaccinated understanding that legal hunting preceded by a long process of significant investments in improving the productivity of hunting grounds. Free fishing - this is the first sign of poaching, and they abuse the considerable range of hunters. At the same time, the violations committed by business entities in the sphere of nature (less than a thousand of registered offenses), have more global significance as unsustainable use of natural resources leads to depletion. In this part of the Environmental Prosecutor's Office is working with the environmental authorities. The main goal - a preventive effect that, guided by the words of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, by means of Public Prosecutions to prevent "the growing environmental threat." It should be noted that the tactic of Public Prosecutions is subject to a coordinating function of environmental prosecutors. The prosecutor's office in the organization of supervision can not replace the work of the specially authorized state bodies. So, more than half of last year uncovered violations (511) found in the activities of the officials of environmental agencies and authorities, which contributed, to a certain extent, the qualitative improvement of environmental performance.
