Among other definitions bloggers — people who express their opinions on the Internet (5%), share information on the Internet (3%), communicating on the web (2%). 1% of respondents call them slackers. 26% admitted that they first hear the word — it should be noted that among active Internet users the figure was 8%. And 4% were undecided. Famous people leading their blogs were able to name 33% of Russians and a leader in the recognition of Medvedev (it mentioned 20% of respondents). Respondents indicated and blog Putin is probably referring to the official website of the President of the social network (8%). Among the famous people leading their blogs, respondents also named K.Sobchak (2%), A.Navalnogo (2%), Mikhail Prokhorov (2%), Vladimir Zhirinovsky (2%), etc. In the view of Russians, blogs are maintained by the authors to share ideas, information with others (43%). The second most important reason — the desire to attract attention (35%). In third place — the desire to communicate with people (27%). Several respondents were less likely to believe that blogs are maintained simply because it is fashionable (18%), for the sake of pastime, to express their creative abilities (to 17%) or for the sake of earnings (14%).
