Investigators at Primorsky Krai completed work on the criminal case against the former deputy head of the regional Department of Environmental Protection. He was convicted of taking bribes on a large scale.
An official for a bribe to stand trial
According to the investigation, in November 2007 the accused, holding the position of head of the Environmental Protection Primorye, received from one of the commercial organizations 400000 rubles as a bribe.
The bribe was transferred for the fact that the official «closed eyes» to the violation of the construction of the solid waste landfill. All acts of a commercial organization freely signed, payment in accordance with the state contract price received in full.
