The Governor of the Primorsky Territory Vladimir Miklushevsky Today, July 17 introduced in the Legislative Assembly of the amendments to the regional law «On Physical Culture and Sports» that will allow coastal athletes who distinguished themselves at the Universiade in Kazan, get a «prize» payments.

Earlier, the Legislative Assembly approved the amendments to the law on bonus payments, but they will come into force only in July 192013. Thus, coastal athletes who won medals at the 2013 Universiade in Kazan, could not qualify for them.
«I have carefully studied the issue and decided to correct this omission. We have amended the law — they will pay a «prize» to all our athletes who distinguished themselves in various competitions from January 1 this year «, — said Vladimir Miklushevsky during the program.
