It was attended by Assistant Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Council of Veterans and MIA MIA Colonel General Ivan Shilov, Chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on DFO Eugene Kuzhel, Head of the MOI of Russia by DFO Vasily Volkov, Minister of Interior of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia) Viktor Koshelev, vice-president of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Dmitry Glushko, leaders of veterans organizations and units to work with staff of the territorial Department of the Interior, Law Institute of the Far East and Eastern Regional Command of the Interior Ministry of Russia. The main theme of the conference was summarizing the work of social organization and discuss the main directions of its development. The Council noted that veterans\’ organizations, together with HR departments spend significant efforts to assist veterans, widows and families of employees killed in the line of duty. «Implementation issues of social protection and the creation of conditions for the provision of local government, public and charitable organizations help needy actively addressed in the Amur region, where the families of the deceased employees and veterans constantly receiving medical, moral, legal, financial aid, — said Leonid Primakov, Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Veterans and MIA MIA Russia by DFO. — Much attention is given to these issues in Sakhalin. An important focus of the veterans\’ organizations is taking care of children of employees who died in the line of duty. Nicholas Myronovych said that in the region thanks to the veterans of each such child has a guardian. Fruitful cooperation with the leadership of the All-Russian Children\’s Center «Ocean», available free vouchers to children of the fallen staff. In the Magadan region and the decision of the Mayor\’s Office Regional Administration of Magadan war veterans, home front workers, families of the deceased employees are exempt from paying utility bills. The participants shared experiences and discussed proposals aimed at increasing the participation of veterans\’ organizations and personnel departments in addressing issues of social protection and assistance to those in need. In particular, the Council decided to initiate the establishment of branches in the Far Eastern regions of the Fund\’s «Veteran of the Interior Ministry» to provide the necessary psychological, physical, social and household help veterans of the war. The Council also appealed to the heads of territorial divisions of the Russian Interior Ministry in the DFO with the request to assist veterans\’ organizations to conduct outreach events and activities, the implementation of programs of social and legal protection of veterans, war veterans, home front workers, widows and families of employees killed in the line of duty.
